Pain; but due to MS spasms moving foot.
Slept. Dementia woman in opposite bed wheeled away in the night where we could still hear her shouting but slept. X-ray and plan to try and put weight on it. If I can I’ll be hoping to get out ASAP
I have nice food Al, Matt and Sue brought from home in fridge and good stuff on kindle. All as good as it can be. XX
janestegerlewisI must say, these ortho docs are all very tall butch male types and yet much as they must love power tools, one cut my soft cast thing off his morning with a pair of rainbow nail scissors with the arched ends. I said, “ you should have a chainsaw! I’ve got a Swiss army knife in my handbag” “ I can’t find my proper tool” he simpered in front of the consultant 🤣
janestegerlewisSo here’s a funny thing… after all of my hospital avoidance my GP rings me with broken leg results and tells me to gr letter picked up at his reception stat and ring an ambulance! Grrrr.

janestegerlewisSo here’s a truly amazing thing (to me anyway) I’m ill. More than usual. On Sat. totally lost mobility. Couldn’t transfer with walking frame to wheelchair, very high temp. Bladder infection. Antibiotics. I’m immunocompromised & too many visitors last wk. Temp down and tried to get up for shower. Hoisted back to bed. Now can’t get up due to ankle. Raised, on ice. Don’t want to go to A&E MOBILE XRAY coming to me tomorrow! Who’d have thought? It’s 4 ft long and 2ft wide & weighs 50 st. AMAZED
