The #RetroAchievements list has been added to HowLongToBeat.com
I will try my best to keep this list updated with games I want to play, games that I am currently playing, and games I add to the potential pile.
Games that have been Mastered on RetroAchievements will be in the Completed and Retired pile.
But, as it stands, this is the best way for me to share what I am wanting to play in the near future.
As I have always said as well, happy to take recommendations for things!
I have also put scores against everything I have beaten.
Anything over a 6 is something I enjoyed and I would cautiously recommend anything with a 7. Tastes are personal, so I would take some of my higher scoring games with a pinch of salt!

My God, this was intense.
It took 4 attempts to get this done, and even then, I almost failed at the last moment. I was quite honestly sweating, and I think my wife was glancing over at me with a massive amount of concern on her face as I was muttering and cursing under my breath.
But that poor Coyote will need to go hungry as he falls back down to earth.
The Quantum Beep stages are not easy, and failing meant I had to beat the 4 previous worlds again. By this point, I feel like I am pretty proficient at playing this game.
All that is left is collecting all the flags on each stage, which will be a time-consuming task, but won't be as bad as death-less runs.

So, I am just learning how big the Zero Tolerance rabbit hole is...
Here, I thought it was some technologically impressive #SegaGenesis game, but I didn't realise there was a modern remaster of it that includes expansions on the original game!
That was all done in 2022 as well!

I'm just trying to reduce how often my Magpie brain allows itself to get distracted by shiny things, so we can add it to the list, and it might get bumped up a little bit, but I want to reduce the queue jumping in my mind.

So, last night, I was quite giddy with excitement for today's #VGMWednesday
I've been meaning to share this one for a while, and I engineered an excuse. You could say I didn't need to, but I am the one who decided on an annual theme of things I have played recently.
So recently, I replayed and recorded a Let's Play of Extermination for #PS2 , which is an early 6th generation survival horror.
For a game of its genre, on new hardware, released in 2000, it's not bad, in my opinion. It has some jank, and the voice acting is pretty choice.
But I am here to drop the biggest twist this game has to offer. This is the ending track that plays during the final cutscene as it fades to credits. [Candy Girl]

It feels like some kind of prank or shitpost, though during the credits you get about a minute of this before it fades to generic actiony ending music, you'll know what I mean when you hear.
That's cowardice in my book. They should have done the full song.

For the first two, I shamelessly stole some images online... I feel bad, I will either replace them in due course or provide the source for the images.
For Super Star Wars I was able to take snippets from my Let's Play of the series that I did back in May of this year.
I am planning to get the next 4 write ups added on Thursday/Friday this week, then I will work on writing up some more.
It's funny, when I break up the write-ups with pictures, they seem MUCH shorter, and I am kinda disappointed...
I love how brazen apps on the App Store can be sometimes.
Though this is the first time I have seen one using Animal Crossing styles, usually they are weird Pokemon clones...

I feel Wile E Coyote needs a slightly larger sign because it just doesn't quite read right.
Didn't think I would have beaten Road Runner tonight... I will still need to run it a few times, as I messed up a couple of achievements, but I can also put it on the back burner as it is now beaten and another chapter of my childhood is completed.
I can breathe a sigh of relief. This wasn't as bad as I was expecting.
It's still a tough time, especially the last couple of stages.
Turns out you can get continues in the game, but it requires a score threshold to be met, and that can be quite challenging as getting a good score requires finding some of the more annoying secrets.

Hmmm, so far, of the games I had played in the last few months, I have only been successfully able to do some kind of post completion thought dump on 9 of the 20.
The thing is, this isn't an exhaustive list for games either... As I had left this document to fester shortly after beating Alien 3 on the Genesis.
The ones highlighted in green are, by and large, ready to be pasted over to my blog when I get the confidence to do that.
Some of these games I will probably not worry about writing about, not because they don't deserve it, but mostly because so much has happened since playing them that I don't think I have the words or memory to unpack them...
