"The Rainmaker," my seventh novel and the sequel to "Rain: A Novella" is now available as a Kindle ebook with a paperback edition coming shortly.

Following from the original story, Rain and her Shadow have fled into the Dream to escape the shadowy forces who control her mind. With little more than a name and a vague location to work from, they travel halfway around the world in search of allies and a way to make themselves whole again.

"Are your books available somewhere other than Amazon?"

This question comes up occasionally and the simple answer is no and they probably never will be.

The longer answer is: Amazon lets me do e-books and paperbacks, it's where the largest number of potential readers are, and it's simply not worth it to me to move unless there's a significant number of paying readers elsewhere.

I don't like Bezos or Amazon either but it is what it is.

Everything is terrible but the fifth volume of my urban fantasy series, "Wolf, Witch, Warrior," is now available as a Kindle e-book. A paperback edition will be available shortly.

It's Springtime! Trying to engage in a bit of normalcy, Felicia and Medea instead find themselves attacked and hunted through the sewers. Meanwhile, the Pyramid are on the prowl and an old "friend" of Roland's wants to talk to her.

"Infinity Has Your Phone Number," my third short story collection connecting my "Navigator" novels and the wider, weirder universes of my short fiction, is now available as a Kindle ebook and should soon be available in an impressively thick paperback edition as well.

Come see what the imaginary people in my head have been up to lately and shake a fist with them at all the horrible bullshit they have to endure!

It's probably late to drop this but Navigator Book Six, "Torn Skies, Warm Hearts," is now available as a Kindle ebook and shortly in paperback.

Picking up from "A Series of Unlikely Explanations" and "Infinity Has Your Phone Number," follow MK as she gets in over her head in another dimension, Kristen as she screws up history again, and everyone else scrambling to pick up the pieces!

Now with Funny Aurvandil, a distinct improvement over original flavor Aurvandil!

Like, I can't help thinking that American Nazis are such whiny pedo-freaks even H.P. Lovecraft would have deplored them for their squeamishness.

Political philosophy is merely pretty as long as people tolerate being ruled by the weakest, most insufferable dipshits.

Gender nonconforming cis women will always suffer greater levels of transphobic abuse and violence than trans women will by dint of sheer numbers, and I really wish people had paid literally any attention to the ten thousand times trans people warned them this would happen.

These days it really feels like we're in an "Omelas" style sci-fi story about whether our society even deserves to exist.

"The profound intimacy of a mother and child purchasing an initial brassiere or sanitary products is a cherished and delicate rite of passage," says the creepy Nazi obsessive guy.

First of all, I love womanhood more than most people. But feminine hygiene products are sold in grocery stores next to the cat food. And a bra -- it's just a bra, guy -- is just as much an annoying imposition by a male-dominated society as it is anything else.

"You don’t have to be a vampire to think poorly of humans. Most humans do.

Even having been human, and now something else, doesn’t grant any special perspective on the species. Why would it? Humans advertise their awfulness all the time on TV and blogs and video sites.

They wear it like it’s going out of style – which it is, seeing how they’re destroying the planet and thus, themselves. And the rest of us, too.

Nobody hates humans the way humans do and that's a fact."

"We have built the largest data center in the world!"

"What does it do?"

"It summarizes two sentence e-mails that you don't want to read. And! AND! It gets it right 80% of the time!"

People who rely on a higher authority to tell them what's right and wrong don't actually have a sense of morality. They only understand subservience.
