They're all "made" primarily by fascists who claim that "politics" (which in this case means the safety and visibility of marginalised people) doesn't matter so long as the product itself is good, and happen to be absolute trash-tier products that you shouldn't use anyway.

It's been a year since I did my last intro post and I'm trying to reboot my account a bit.

I'm Isabelle, but I usually go by Izzy. Call me which one you want. I'm a 20 year old computer science student from the UK coming into my final year. I've been on Fedi since 2022.

I'm bi, transfem and I suffer from Autism and ADHD, which causes me a lot of executive dysfunction (where being organised is really hard).

I like free software, emo and rock music, video games (of any variety as long as it's fun), and programming. I'm also wanting to learn how to draw soon. I maintain Binary, a number base converter for GNOME, and want to start other projects but don't have the time or motivation sadly.

I really don't think people appreciate how badly having both adhd and insomnia can affect your life. I've had periods where I wake up well into the evening, because I'm too uninterested in sleeping to really focus on it and also there's usually stuff I want to do, so I end up doing it.

Binary 5.3 has just been released as a small update. It comes with many translation updates and a few small updates.

Development hasn't been too active lately due to uni work and personal issues. I'm hoping to work on it a lot more over the summer and hopefully past that. In the mean time, get it now on flathub: https://flathub.org/apps/io.github.fizzyizzy05.binary

Since, I moved instances, I'm going to reintroduce myself.

I'm Isabelle Jackson, but I generally just go by Izzy. I'm 20 and I'm a computer science student. I like tech, games, and Linux. I use Fedora Silverblue as my OS of choice and use GNOME as my main desktop.

I maintain Binary, a number base converter, and am working on Colourful, an inspirational app generating colours. I'm also interested in contributing to other GNOME/GNOME-related projects.

I'm transfem, and have ADHD and autism. I have my pronouns as a data field on my profile. I generally go by she/her, but if we're close at all, they/them is fine also.
