I'm darf,

I've been in infosec for far too long at this point and I've played red and blue team, currently Threat Intel for my day job.

I've worked for a firewall vendor, a tier 1 telecom company, and that one tech consulting company everyone wants to get into right out of college, got lost down the cyber insurance rabbit hole, and now I work at the cloud.

In my free time I'm trying to get my hands dirty with anything that has wheels and a motor, and when its cold I get a bit too into racing video games. Currently co-running WIBSec Racing with @burritosec@infosec.exchange

I don't understand why sandbox companies haven found a nice way to shut up benign update/check-in/telemetry bullshit. The amount of analysts I've had to talk off the ledge after they chased a chrome updated traffic for an hour is too damn high.

So it turns out. You won't send a GET request if you never actually call http.get() And If you have a failed request cached to a variable and keep printing that, you spend an hour troubleshooting

Bunch of new peeps (allegedly in industry) at the local hacker meet up and none of them had signal. Was wild to me. Kinda felt like a dick but wasn't giving them my phone number. Told them my user name and they could hit me up on signal when they got there.

As with all good computer touching projects, I went from digging into random binaries to trying to troubleshoot why my PiHole is just failing to do DNS things. 🙃🙃
