Out of curiosity, who here has used Maxima (or the legendary codebase it was based upon, Macsyma) to do math things? What were your experiences! It seems so interesting but I don't really have a reason to use it #lisp #math

uhoh I'm in trouble for this one
What you are referring to as "Tux" is in fact more accurately "Tux/Xenia", or as I've recently taken to calling it, "Tuxenia"
xenia was the original not unix mascot right

I did get a bit whimsical when writing this blogpost but I thought the journey into the land of the elfs part was fun (and hopefully informative)
Oh yeah, and if you're a Guix user, the new Goblins release is already ready for you, just do a guix pull and grab guile-goblins :3
Heck yeah, a brand new release of @spritely@social.coop Goblins! v0.16.0! https://spritely.institute/news/spritely-goblins-v0-16-0-released.html
Faster, by a LOT! 10-20x speedups for multiple core operations!
And, a brand new Unix Domain Sockets netlayer, so you can use Goblins + OCapN for local IPC!
Plus a ton of other stuff! Check it out!

Time, the substrate of change
I haven't seen any major news articles about this, but you can see for yourself. Journalists where you at, who's gonna write the first piece
Here's a news article covering it, thx @billseitz@toolsforthought.social https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/did-congress-official-constitution-site-just-delete-references-to-parts-of-article-1/ar-AA1K0QFb
BTW why put the "question" thing up there, just answer the question, yes it was
So uh, it appears the US constitution's official version on constitution.congress.gov has whole sections removed from it: https://slrpnk.net/post/25696399
Amongst others being the removal of the section saying "habeas corpus shall not be suspended"
