I showed him the More Perfect Union deep dive into Instacart pricing nonsense and he finally turned to me and said “Ok, help me secure my shit.”

Sara :ruby:I don’t personally have an Instagram or Facebook account anymore. “Most” people have one. It’s common tor businesses to use one as their only site.
I think “most” people don’t realize that these businesses are now inaccessible to people without accounts. Unless I jump through some internet-fu hoops, I always get redirected to a login screen when trying to view a profile. It’s extremely frustrating. I basically can’t get more details about these companies or interface with them online at all.
I don’t think it was always this way. I think meta chose at some point to add a wall to their tainted garden.
