My old cat, Faris, was a smart and grumpy former street cat. She lived until she was 17 years old, and I still miss her dearly. Rescue truly is the best breed.

A portrait of my old cat Faris. She used to love sitting in this sink-turned-planter in the back yard. It was a waste of time trying to plant more in it, or trying to make it look good - she'd just crush anything that was in it. Truly the best cat.

An old #Caturday pic; I genuinely can't even remember where I stumbled upon this grumpy and beautiful thing. I've tried to find the alley again since this test roll was shot in 2020, and I can't quite figure out. Such is the joy of the aimless wander.

A beautiful grey cat is lying on top of a brick wall at the rear of some very English terrace houses. It's eying the photographer who took this photo (i.e. me) very suspiciously.

I really, really hate film rebranding/repackaging. It's just an utter scam.

A screenshot of an advert - sorry, "sponsored post" - on Facebook for Analogue Wonderland. They're asking if people have seen these "Strange and unusual" films. My comment? "A lot of these aren't unusual - some of them you're selling for much cheaper prices in their original forms. The FPP Mummy you're advertising here for £15 is literally just Fomapan 400 with a £8.50 gullibility markup. And that's an £8.50 markup based on your own prices for Fomapan 400 - I can save an extra quid per roll by shopping somewhere else!" I wonder how long that stays up before someone at Analogue Wonderland deletes it.
