Late #Introduction
Hey all! The long and the short: Iโm a social planning policy analyst, a lapsed active transportation / transit / mobility equity advocate, a regional planning stan, interested in civictech, coops and service design.
I seek to deepen my understanding of disability justice, recovery from chronic disembodiment and decolonization as a settler and third-culture kid. I seek to be a thoughtful steward and to pay it forward on the loveliness Iโve gotten to enjoy.
A reminder to everyone, including myself:
There are many ways to respond to trauma and oppression. All have emotional validity, but those responses shape our view and understanding of whatโs possible, desirable and worthy of our attention or action.
My lifeโs purpose is not to validate other peopleโs choices or beliefs shaped by their trauma or oppression. I am here to do right by the experiences Iโve had, the kindness Iโve been shown, the debts I will always be working to repay.

I generally deny requests for one or more of:
* no bio
* no posts (Iโm on an older client so sometimes my gauge of this is inaccurate)
