Melody thinks her humans were very silly to work on what should have been a lazy #Caturday #CatsOfMastodon

Melody is a chubby torbie, a tortoise shell tabby. She has yellow-green eyes, an orange nose, four white paws and a white tummy and bib. She is inside a cardboard cubby shaped like a little house. She is sitting on the scratcher and facing the door with one paw forward. She is in the midst of a huge yawn that makes her look as if she is laughing hilariously.

Learning this new platform -- so here is an #introduction .

I'm an introvert who is passionate about #genealogy and #cats. My day job is wrangling data and I might mention #SQL.

I am a blue dot living near the east coast of the US, but am a native of the high desert of Northern #Arizona. I love #photos from #AZ and around the world.

At under 70, I hate to admit that I have great-grandchildren. I want them to live in a clean world with unlimited opportunities.

1. Miss Melody sat on my desk for part of the afternoon. She usually doesn't do that, so it was a nice treat to reach out and pet her while on an interminable Teams call.

2. Deployed a bunch of cleanup code that I've been working on for an internal DB that I've designed and changed for the past 15 years. Phase one done, ready for the next phase.

3. Havarti on my broccoli. Don't judge me. 😁
