So, somebody wrote a program that converts, in-place, an #NTFS volume into #btrfs.

It even keeps an image of the original NTFS volume as a file in the resulting btrfs volume. This can be used to undo the conversion or deleted to free up space and make the conversion permanent.

That is absolutely wild.

We didn't have none of these new-fangled light-emitting doohickeys when I was young. If you wanted to see a picture on a screen back in my day, you'd point a 27-kilovolt death ray at your face, which came with a screen attached in front of it, and the death ray would light up the screen. This contraption somehow didn't kill us. Usually.

If you are doing #Java #programming, and you've downloaded a jar of #Javadoc documentation for some library, #Firefox can directly display it without unpacking the jar!

Just prepend
jar:file://, and append !/index.html, to form a URL.

For example, if the jar is located at:
/home/you/.m2/repository/com/example/example-library/1.0/example-library-1.0-javadoc.jar

Then use this URL:
jar
file///home/you/.m2/repository/com/example/example-library/1.0/example-library-1.0-javadoc.jar!/index.html

It's kinda wild that #JavaScript has three different representations for β€œno value”:

* null: This means there isn't a value here in this instance, but there could have been.

* undefined, and the property doesn't exist: This means there isn't a value here and probably never could have been.

* undefined, but the property does exist:
