I just had to upload this myself so I could pin it.

I think it's a really important message beyond just the fact that computers and networks are an amazing gift to society, I think it's equally or more important to note that conformity is a curse.

We should all be able to have our own opinions and ways to view the world, without being resented for it, without being cast out for it.

It's diversity and inclusion that make this world a greater place; not some narrative that disagreement is wrong

Also, great minds think like’ ends with “but fools rarely differ” It goes to show that conformity isnt always a good thing And that just because more than one person has the same idea, doesnt necessarily mean it's a good idea “Birds of a feather flock together” ends with ‘until the cat comes:” its actually a warning about fair-weather frends,not an assessment of how complementary people are The early bird catches the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. Funny how all the halffinished ones encourage uniformity and upholding the status-quo, while the complete proverbs encourage living exciting, eclectic lives driven by choice and personal passion

To me AI/ML is just a tool.

If you start to whack people with that tool, you're dumb

If you try and plagiarize copyrighted works with that tool, you're dumb

If you try and make money over other people's back with that tool, you're dumb

People should stop implying that AI/ML is the source of all their problems, and start whacking the people who abuse the tools.

Those people never needed the tools to do damage, it was their intentions underneath all along that caused all this damage.

If AI/ML isn't a person, why do people keep personifying and attacking it, rather than the people that actually use the software 🤔🤔

Normalize having nuanced opinions, and not going berserk rage whenever something doesn't align with your personal world view, or full zealot when it does.
