I drew another LP cover β one of my favorite Pink Floyd albums, and their tribute to Syd Barret. This is an alternate version that started as a sticker, but has later been used for casette tapes, CDs and LP box sets. The reference for this image is the 50 year anniversary edition of the album.
The original design was created by George Hardie, a graphic designer and illustrator working at Hipgnosis, a London based art design group that specialised in creating album cover artwork for rock musicians and bands. After spending hours and hours with this, I'm in awe of mr. Hardie's skills, creating this (and so many more) using analog tools only.
A few vector drawings of Louise Brooks I recently completed. I'm a sucker for a cute face in that haircut⦠Original photos ca. 1929 by Eugene Robert Richee.
