TWIMC - As you may know, the fediverse group for #Palestine interested people "palestine(at)a.gup.pe" is now gone.
There are alternatives such as FediGroups or TagPush*, already contacted, but no reaction till now.
But we don't want to wait longer, and it turned out that a Japanese server "fedibird" kindly offered a group account for us:
@palestine@fedibird.com
It functions almost like the a.gup.pe group, only you need to follow it in order to be boosted, not only to receive the group post.
Note: the account holder is @adachika192@hcommons.social (AK) and can moderate e.g. delete posts and block accounts if (strictly) needed. Better than 100% automated bot.
You know, it truly would "work" with a certain number of followers, and we hope you all to 1)consider following the new group, and 2)spread this info as broad as possible.

Hallo, I posted this a couple of days ago - without any resonance, so I try again.
I encountered a problem that posts from newer mastodon version, with #CW in text and media, donβt hide media properly (text is hidden), on instances running older versions/ hybrid.
I suppose this is a known problem on several instances.
It should have been an issue in the community, and if there are any tips Iβd be grateful to learn. Thank you.

The devastation wrought by the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki β¦ has been well-documented over the past eight decades.
Less well-known is the fact that about 20% of the immediate victims were Koreans.
Korea had been a Japanese colony for 35 years when the bomb was dropped. An estimated 140,000 Koreans were living in Hiroshima at the time - many having moved there due to forced labour mobilisation, or to survive under colonial exploitation.
Those who survived the atom bomb, along with their descendants, continue to live in the long shadow of that day β wrestling with disfigurement, pain, and a decades-long fight for justice that remains unresolved.
