It's getting tiring to explain why it's "fresh" now. People didn't use it for years unless it was dogwhistle, or they had a definition of "edgy" that meant being quietly antisemitic.

"Uber" was available as a brand because it's in the song "Deutschlandlied" and was performed along with "Horst-Wessel-Lied" as a Nazi national anthem.

This is why it was so readily available as a four letter brand name. Full stop.

It's kinda important to pay attention to the subtext. Nothing is really a coincidence. If they aren't trying to send the message, they don't use the language.

If anyone was worried about Black people being upset, if or when the White House burns down again, it might be educational to see how folks recently reacted to the sight of burning plantations.

Slaves built all of those buildings, and their descendants should be free to watch them go up in smoke.
