Long ago I had to take my father to a nursery home.
He was doing ok. Recognised good and bad people.
I noticed a ward with beds and about 20 zombies were lying there, dying there.
My dad was, so they told, difficult to maintain. They started a treatment.
Next day my dad had turned into a zombie, unable to express himself, unable to walk.
I became angry and they stopped their treatment, giving him some life back.
I realised later that they get paid by client, the zombies in bed are cheaper.
On this day, five years ago, I died and came back as a geriatric without any energy.
From the outside nothing can be seen but I only have half a day to do things.
I find it all hard to accept.
I should be happy to survive my accident but that happiness is fading. I still have my bad sense of humor and I am capable of doomscrolling on Mastodon.
But that's about it.

I forgot to turn on the route tracker.
I drove from Assen to Hooghalen, Beilen, Spier, Lhee, Dwingeloo, Dieverbrug, Diever, Wapse, Vledder, Doldersum, Canada, Appelscha, Smilde, Bovensmilde, back home. Most with the top down (cabrio!). Battery almost empty.
Was nice.
