Man I forgot just how different these early attempts were before the entire thing evolved for Season Two. Back when we first started we just kind of wanted to do whatever and see how it all goes. It wasn't until we started getting better at the "doing whatever" part that we added the goal of defeating the Enderdragon.

These early runs were much more wonderment at the whole experiment rather than focusing on achieving the goal, which has its own vibe to it for sure!

Ok, those first few attempts were a bit all over the place, and while the video quality hitched here and there, that'll calm down over the next few streams. We also didn't really have a best practices in place yet, so runs were largely left up to chance still. Still, it's been such a a nostalgia trip going back through these attempts completely unedited, rather than the Cliff Notes version of the #SharedHardcore series I edited down on the main channel.

This is it! We made it! We have started the #SharedHardcore Season One VODs!

I will say the first few are a bit rough as we're all still new to everything, but once we got going things started getting interesting. The evolution of our habits and capabilities as players was so fascinating to be a part of as well as rewatch afterwards. I literally play differently now after having gone through the game in this way, such a fun time!

If you're unaware, this is a custom data pack and server setup that @nincodedo@ocw.social brewed up that causes any one of us dying to destroy the entire server, causing it to be completely rebooted fresh for another attempt. Our goal, defeat the Enderdragon on a singular shared life. Our journey towards this end was chronicled and edited down to a 10-part series on my main YouTube channel!
