Shaula EvansI remember when my neighbour had an absolutely crisis because she had a birthday coming up and she was going to be so old, there would be no more fun in her life, her life was functionally over. She was quite serious about this and she was utterly distraught.
She was 19 turning 20.
I think of her whenever someone goes on about how horribly old they are.
It's all just a social construct. Get over it, be yourself, live your best life. 1/n

We're all going to be ridiculous sometimes, but my philosophy is that when you are, make it count, and don't be self-pitying and cringe. 😂

1. Buried deep in the site, I found the Covid policy, which states: "We no longer require evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations for attendance at our meetings, but we strongly recommend that our participants be fully vaccinated. Masks are not required but recommended in all indoor public/shared. spaces within the conference venue."
2. No remote attendance options.
