First teaching day after the holidays. One of the rooms I teach in was 28-29 Celcius in the evening. That’s cooler than outside but just barely :D.

Had to switch to practising modern bassoon and dulcian right away after coming home from holidays, because of an upcoming workshop (for dulcian) and orchestra project (on modern bassoon).

I was surprised by how not difficult the switch felt, even though I’d only played baroque bassoon (and a tiny bit of traverso) for more than a month! I actually think my dulcian playing has improved by practising the baroque bassoon.

Now I just have to get out of the habit of trying to use the pancake key for playing A on the modern bassoon. :D
