I woke from a beautiful dream, this morning
I don't know if it was pre- All This, or magically post-, or in an alternate universe where the pandemic and the coup never happened
But I was not so sick, and travel was possible, and everything was so beautiful
I was in a small California town, visiting a friend
Golden sunlight on conifers. Thinking of taking up painting
A small wildfire that was just about out, and clean air blown in
Catching a ride with my friend, leaning my head on the glass and looking out the window, looking at the scenery and interesting things (a swing set designed for disabled adults). Literally purring to myself, I was so happy
Tiny smalltown library, with parking lot where they gave out the town mail, plus a few people selling swap meet / bake sale type items
I was wearing a mask, because immune compromised. But no one else was, and I wasn't afraid for them, only slightly concerned

Updates:
I lost internet for a couple weeks, and have been relying on my very limited cell phone data, which slowed down implementation of this plan. Internet is now bac,k but not completely stable. Working on it!
I have medical stuff in the a.m., Pacific time, 7 days a week. I'm not available before 3pm Pacific 😌
I would love to have an asynchronous chat component! Maybe when we meet on zoom someone would be willing to take notes, and then we could continue the conversation on Mastodon?
