I often wondered how bands like Fanny Lumbsen can come here from Australia play small gigs and still make it pay.

Just checking her tour and in the month she's here along with the gigs, she's playing 7 festivals, so they must pay the bills

Good gig tonight, just Maggie Baugh solo with an acoustic guitar. Maybe not her wisest decision, playing Night and Day Café in Manchester in front of 100 people instead of being the bango player in Keith Urban's band on his world tour, I guess at some point you have to put your own singing career first.
