Accessibility isn't mysticism. It isn't a manifesto. It’s just generosity and common sense.
Don't let the fear of being unpoetic leave us in the dark.
bad alt text > no alt text.
imperfect description > silence.

I don’t use AI to replace people.
I use it to replace unnecessary waiting.
For many of us, AI isn’t a shortcut — it’s access. It means answers instead of queues, participation instead of delay, and getting on with life while the world catches up.
Tools don’t erase humanity.
They remove friction.

A simple reframe for #Blind folk who are sick of being scolded for using AI to look at things.
Take a leaf out of Apple’s book and just say:
Yes, I use #AI — Assistive Intelligence.
Assistive Intelligence is the same access/assistive tech disabled people have used for the past 40 years — just easier to use, easier to learn, more reliable, and it doesn’t cost the same as a small family car.
