The women, the brown folk, the black folks, the gays,
The natives, the transplants who live in LA,
The leftists, the liberals, the hippies, the Jews,
The Muslims, the Hindus, and atheists too
The ones who write movies, the ones who write laws
The ones who write songs to thunderous applause
Kids brought here by parents, or left on our shore
Seekers, or DREAMers, or fleeing a war
The teachers, the students, the construction crews,
The media guys who tell us the news,
The guys who pipe up, the guys who back down,
The guy who took a knee on the green grassy ground
The folks in big cities, the folks in the field,
The folks in the capitol wearing the shield,
The unmarried mothers, the kids with two dads,
Moms with blue hair, and the kids who are trans
You say you're a patriot
What a way to spin it
For someone who "loves America"
You sure hate everyone in it
And who's left, after you take them away
To die in the dark on a bright Florida day
Who's left to Lord over, after you've won?
Nothing, no person, nobody, no one.
First they came for the trans community and I spoke out. They said I was deviant, they said I hated women, and they tried to silence my voice.
Then they came for the immigrants and I spoke out. They said I was unamerican, they said I hated my country and they threatened me with deportation.
Then they came for the judges and I spoke out. They said I was a traitor to law and order, they called for my job, and they threatened me with jail.
Then they came for the journalists and I spoke out. They branded me fake, they spat the word enemy and they put my name on death lists.
Then they came for the Senators, the Mayors, and our elected representatives and I spoke out. They said I was inciting violence, they said I was promoting chaos, and they sent armed soldiers in tanks to my city.
Then they came for the teachers, the librarians, and the protestors and still I spoke out. They pushed harder. Arresting, banning, deporting, murdering. Because democracy is dangerous when it does not serve them, and a democratic voice that will not be silenced the most dangerous of all.
Eventually they will come for you. And there will be nobody left to speak out.

It is the unanimous Declaration of the People of the United States of America, When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all people are created equal, regardless of race, age, physical handicap, country of origin, religion or lack thereof, sexual orientation, gender, or gender presentation, and that they are endowed at birth with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are the right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. βThat to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among the People, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, βThat whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. He has refused to obey the Laws of this Nation.
He has endeavored to prevent the population of these States by immigrants and asylum seekers.
He has obstructed the Administration of Justice.
He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, such as ICE and DOGE and sent from those Offices swarms of unelected "Officers" to harass and kidnap our people, steal our private information, and dismantle our institutions.
He has attempted to render the Military, the Department of Homeland Security and ICE independent of and superior to the Civil power.
He has joined with other Nations to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our Constitution.
For Quartering and Harboring large bodies of armed insurrectionists among us:
For protecting them, by Executive Order, from punishment for Murders which they both committed and planned to commit, on the Inhabitants of these States:
For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:
For imposing Taxes and Tariffs on us without our Consent:
For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury and Due Process of Law:
For transporting us beyond our National Borders to be incarcerated without Trial for pretended offences:
For taking away our Charters, rescinding our Treaties, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and fundamentally altering the Forms of our Governments:
He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives and livelihoods of our people.
He is at this time transporting large Armies of ICE Mercenaries to complete the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & Perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.
He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us.
At every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: but our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A President, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.
We, therefore, the Representatives of the United States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of this Nation, solemnly publish and declare, That these United States are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump, and his MAGA allies, and that all political connection between us, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, we have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
