Hot take: My solution to trans people in women's sports: anyone can play women's sports if they sign an agreement that they will exclusively compete in women's sports for the next 2 years.
That's it. That's the whole solution.
(The 2 years thing is kinda arbitrary, could be longer or shorter, but wanted to leave at least some space for some trans folks that later decide fem is less correct, or not to completely ruin an athlete's career because they made a stupid mistake as a kid)
Any cis man who wants to be a troll to try and come in and win at women's sports can. They just have to pay the price of 2 years of their athletic career to compete with women. Which if a guy is actually good enough to beat top tier in the division women athletes, they're not going to want to give up that much of their time on a troll. The joke of trying to beat women is going to get super old once they discover - oh, now when they lose, they're losing to girls. And turns out, women athletes are good enough a mediocre man would probably lose quite often, even with the advantages T gives.
Trans women not on HRT? Some may win, most will lose. Same as anyone who competes in sports. But isn't that kinda the whole point of sports? Rise to the level that you're better than your competitors, whomever they are?

My one big piece of advice to anyone entering tech:
Don't get used to tech company salaries.
Don't get mortgages and car payments that you can only afford with tech company salaries.
Build as much emergency funds as you possibly can with tech company salaries.
Fully expect that you'll get laid off the exact same time the entire rest of the industry stops hiring people, and it may be a couple years before hiring starts back up again.
Sure, you may think those 6 figure salaries means you're living on easy street, but when it comes with only working 8 out of every 10 years, those numbers aren't near as good.
All of my toots are licensed by whatever the opposite of Creative Commons is. Share them wherever you like, but especially if it's somewhere public, don't attribute to me and crop out my name and photo. Most of my toots self destruct already, and I don't post for fame our clout. Frankly, if I ever start getting people in meatspace saying "Oh, I saw your post on Facebook", I'm burning this whole account to the ground and salting the earth.

For some words of wisdom:
In a cruel and fucked up world, choosing to be kind to other people is the most subversive thing you can do.
