Has anyone noticed that trump speaks with some features of the #Iowan accent? I don't think it's the accent exactly, more the cadence or enunciation maybe? I noticed this when listening to interviewees at the Iowa state fair.
I then discovered that the Iowan accent is considered the most friendly and wondered if he'd adopted this way of speaking purposefully. Fake like his tan, hair, height, weight etc.
Would love to get some opinions.

Even if the next US presidential election does happen, it won't be fair. Just a show of democracy, like in Russia. After all democracies have fallen, there will be no need to bother with the show.
Trump/MAGA will never concede defeat (again) and this time they have many ways to get away with stealing power. More time goes by and they get more entrenched and harder to remove. Don't wait.

If anyone is wondering about censorship here at mastodon, I just had a post removed, partly for saying 'Personally I just think all religion is a bad idea. They so often get used to do evil'.

Is it Muslims? Nope. Christians? Nope. Hindus? Nope. All religious people feel abused and generalised about in normal discourse, as are atheists -that's free speech. Fuck religion & esp genocidal zealots.
