Foxes in Love
@FoxesInLove@social.neonpaws.digital
A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Green arrives at the scene as Blue is twisting himself into unusual positions, turning his head up, down, and upside-down. Green: What are you doing? Blue: I'm realigning my balance crystals. Green: Your what? Blue: One of them has drifted to the wrong part of the labyrinth, and I'm trying to wiggle it back in place. Green: ...What in where? Blue: A calcium crystal in the vestibular labyrinth of the inner ear. Green looks awestruck as he finally comprehends what is happening. Twisting himself onto a loop to turn his head towards Green, Blue looks at him with a confused frown. Green: Ooh, so it's a medical thing. Blue: Wait, what did you think I'm doing? 53ea8b6f13db5f6a.jpeg A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue and Green are sitting at a little bonfire, gazing restfully into the flickering flames. Blue: Do you ever think of the ways your life could've gone differently? Green: No. Blue: Like if you could start over with everything that you know now? Green: Nope. The odds of finding you again in the right place at the right time are way too low. Blue: You'd rather have me than a new chance? Green: Having you is the best possible life. 4c8ba4d39889b006.jpeg A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue is sitting next to Green, who has curled up into a tight ball, looking miserable. Green: Would you still love me if I never got better? Blue hesitates a moment before answering. Blue: What a silly thing to ask. Joining Green on the floor, Blue wraps himself around Green, who doesn't seem as sad anymore. Blue: I would love you even if you got worse. e435f6501a9f7e91.jpeg A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue and Green are doing laundry, with Green's narration hovering above their heads. In the first panel, the foxes are carrying laundry baskets, balancing them on their heads. Narration: Sometimes I look at us and think: "wow, this is really it." The foxes sit in front of a washing machine, which is rumbling with great force. Blue and Green are sitting side-by-side, their tails tangled together. Narration: These are the good times. The foxes are hanging clean laundry on a clothesline. Narration: The soft epilogue. Finally, the foxes are carrying baskets of clean laundry, taking them back while balancing them on top of their heads. Narration: Our happily ever after. ed444d670839db87.jpeg A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue and Green are in bed. Green reaches eagerly towards Blue's side of the bed, while Blue squints his eyes tighter shut and lets out a wordless groan. Green: Cuddles? Blue: MΓΆyrrnnnyΓΆyggΓΆh. Green draws back to his own side of the bed. Green: Was that a "no" or just sleepy sounds?" Blue: Yes. I mean yes, it's a "no". Content with the answer, Green turns around and curls up to sleep on his own side of the bed. Green: Okay. Goodnight. Blue: Night. b68c517e1fe2c4e2.jpeg A comic of two foxes, one of whom is rosy pink, the other is a peach-colour baby. Rose is looking at Peach gently, while baby Peach looks back at her with full toddler defiance. Rose: Okay sweetie, could you please get in the car for me? Peach: No. Looking sick of the situation, Rose begins to forcibly drag Peach into the car as gently as she can, while Peach fights back, dragging on the ground. Rose: Can you please not act like you are getting kidnapped. Peach: This is an insult to my autonomy! Meanwhile, Blue and Green are sitting in Blue's car, watching the situation. Rose, off-panel: There are people waiting for this parking spot. Peach, also out of view: Death before dishonour! Blue: We should just find another spot. Green: No, I want to see who wins. a50982fd8ad57dd2.jpeg A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue and Green are in the grocery store, looking at a shelf with a vast array of various toothpaste tubes. Blue: Huh, that's a lot of toothpaste options. Green: Yep. Blue and Green look at each other. Green: So which one do we need? Blue: The usual. As both foxes turn back to study the shelf, Green starts listing the options. Green: Okay so there's mint and cinnamon flavour, whitening, sensitive, insensitive... As Green continues to nonchalantly list the types of toothpaste, Blue looks at him in confusion. Green: Anti-cavity, anti-gravity, wards off evil spirits... Blue: Wait, what? d8413450b10af0ea.jpeg A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue and Green are camping. Green approaches Blue, who is peering over an opened tuna can with a paper towel in his teeth. Green: The camp's all set! What's for dinner? Blue: Tin-fried tuna! Green watches as Blue - who is holding a lit match in his teeth - stoops above the can, which now has the paper towel inside it. Blue: You put a paper towel in the tuna can and then light it on fire. Once the tuna can has been lit, Blue and Green watch the fire, basking in the light and warmth. Blue: It's ready when the oil is gone. Meanwhile, it works as a scented candle. Green: Nice. 846c997a1e095617.jpeg A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue welcomes Green home, as Green comes in wearing a flower wreath on his head. Blue: Did you have fun with your friends? Green: I did? A sceen from earlier. Green is with his friends, and a mauve fox turns to the direction where Green is approaching from. Mauve: Can someone help me with the grill? Green: Sure thing! Green and Mauve fox sit next to a garden grill, looking at it. Mauve: Do you know how to work this thing? Green: Nope. Both foxes watch calmly as the grill spontaneously combusts. Mauve: Is it supposed to do that? Green: Probably not. 29bde384146bed96.jpeg
