Do you want to discover a wider range of videos and accounts to follow on PeerTube? Here's a guide to all the different ways of exploring PeerTube:
➡️ https://fedi.tips/how-to-search-peertube
There are different options for different kinds of discovery, so it's worth looking at then all to see which one suits your needs.
The newest method is https://peerseek.video , a new PeerTube search engine by @polykit@chaos.social (who runs makertube.net).
#FediTips #PeerTubeTips #PeerTube
The excellent PeerTube enthusiast @polykit@chaos.social has built a new independent search engine for PeerTube videos called Peerseek:
➡️ https://peerseek.video
You can find out more details about Peerseek in their blog post about it:
➡️ https://polykit.rocks/peerseek-federated-peertube-search
(By the way, Polykit also runs https://MakerTube.net which is a PeerTube server for people who make or fix things.)
#PeerTube
You can follow PeerTube accounts just like Mastodon accounts.
For example click on @the_loop_farmer@spectra.video or @folk_viola@rankett.net or any other PeerTube account, and then click "Follow" just like you would with any account.
Their videos will start showing up in your Mastodon timeline and they will look like ordinary posts. Reply to a post to comment on its video.
If you would like to discover lots of good active PeerTube accounts to follow, browse or follow this hashtag:

Do you publish videos on PeerTube?
Would you like your channel to be featured on the curated collection at https://fedi.video?
If so please send me a DM! 🙂
(If you've already DMed and I didn't respond, please feel free to message again. I get quite a lot of messages across my accounts so sometimes stuff gets overlooked 🫤
)
