I overall think the #OpenSource technology world/sphere is about 70% there in development of systems, that everyone can use with a reasonable amount of effort, but the lapse set is affordability and #DisabilityAccessibility (mostly for mobility issues). Likewise it's mostly in the #Hardware not #software nor #OS spheres, (70/10/20 split) which is why not finding much if any chatter on the Hardware problems is so disheartening, because it needs the most work.

If your settings &/or history don't allow me to have any posts of yours I can actually read (regardless of language) and especially if your profile is in only one language & it's one I don't know, beyond lacking posts, then I'm not going to approve your request to follow me, nor will I follow you, until & unless at least the lacking posts problem is solved.

Whatever ecofriendly/less polluting item you push for, be it via tax credits to get an item or banning what is deemed "worse", has to fit 3 basic criterion for it to hold as fair/reasonable:
1. It needs to thoroughly be proven, with full supply chains tracked in the item & it's replacement, that whatever is being pushed is in fact " better" in that regard.
2. The replacement item needs to work just as well for it's tasks as what it's replacing, without negative health/medical effects to product users.
3. It's financial cost to consumers isn't prohibitively expensive in comparison. (This isn't to say that no cost raise is acceptable but for a comparable use time as what it's replacing, it can't be double or more the price.)

Starting to actively look for information about & from other #Jewish #Homesteaders, so far I've basically just found #books from or on it as it existed about 150 years ago, a video or 2 of an introduction &/or Kosher animal slaughter on a farm but.. even as I'll likely order as many of those as I can over the next few year, I'm definitely looking for more information.
One of the problems with the videos I've seen of Christian homesteaders is beyond animal slaughter itself is so many recipes

I've yet to see/read of a single explanation as to why private jetplanes are necessary & all their useage produces more greenhouse gas emissions than all cars do, hence I'm of the ilk, that if any vehicle should be banned, it is said aircraft. #ClimateChange
