Groceries today: veg exclusively from Alberta: mushrooms, tomatoes, bell peppers, spring onions, cucumbers also beef and chicken. Oh and Saskatoons from a neighbouring farm. More fruit from BC: peaches, apricots, cherries, plums and two types of apples. Thank you BC and AB farmers #BuyCanadian
Hm, not that I shop there really but La Senza is no longer Canadian it seems. Got bought out in 2019 according to Wikipedia. No go for #BuyCanadian
Itβs really tasty. Definitely recommend. Also uses 500g zucchini! #gardening #baking

So β¦ canned pumpkin β¦ seems like nothing Canadian available?! I was thinking Sprague Foods would be the perfect company to contact. Maybe we can all email them and ask them to make canned pumpkin? Might take them a bit to get it going but if we donβt ask we wonβt get?! Looks like their email address is info@spraguefoods.com

#BuyCanadian this alone is worthy checking where products come from and picking Canadian products! Holy! Only $25/week for 60k jobs! We should have done that decades ago
βPierre ClΓ©roux, vice-president of research and chief economist at the Business Development Bank of Canada, told The Globe and Mail that if every Canadian household redirected $25 a week from foreign products to Canadian ones, it would boost GDP by 0.7 per cent and create 60,000 jobs.β https://www.removepaywall.com/search?url=https://www.theglobeandmail.com/investing/personal-finance/article-buy-canadian-movement-starts-to-take-a-sizable-bite-into-us-business/
