But what I'm going to ask you to do is think back at how many times Trump has backed down, or chickened out, and who it was that pressured him EFFECTIVELY to do so? Also, a general strike and "shutting it down" are not either or choices. You can do both at the same time if you want them fuckers to scream like they're dying.

The money side of the machine is built to be always moving. It doesn't handle shocks and disruptions well. The private sector has been playing politics at your expense, and has gifted you with a brutal fascist regime lead by an unhinged assclown Nazi (this is Stephen Miller) and a rapidly aging cult messiah figure for fascists. None of them are particularly innocent, at least at the corporate level. You can get to Trump, by hurting them, and they are indeed responsible for this.
