Am I the only one that uses all fours to go up stairs rather than just my legs? It's so much easier

I'm feeling a certain kind of way today and I can't quite put my finger on a word to describe it. It will require multiple words
I think sad, lonely, self destructive, and a little bit hopeful/desperate.

I don't know why people are annoyed by the sound of cicadas, I love that sound
Hi fedi
I've been seeing lately people refering to "spoons", for example "I don't have the spoons to...".
What does that mean?
Today I found out that here are 3 PokeStops and 1 gym in the little park just across the street from me. Sweet!

Is fellow or fella(s) a gendered term, or does it depend on usage? For example, addressing my team as "fellas", as opposed to "my fellow workers". Both include fellow, but different usage.
(Typically I say "alright team..." or "okay gang...")
So...a strange thing happened yesterday. My department at work is moving to a different area, and a lot of prep work is involved, including installing power lines for the machines.
As the leader of the department, I had to talk to the electrician guy to explain machines, what things were, etc...
And before he left for the day, he asks me if I ever golf. I said no, then corrected myself and said "actually I golfed once, and I was terrible at it. It was for a work thing."
Then he goes "Alright, we'll have to find something in common other than work." then smiled, said goodbye, I said goodbye, and that was that.
We will not be working side-by-side often or at all, and I really only needed to answer a few questions, so why would he think we ought to find common-ground that isn't work? Is that weird or is it just me?
Dear friends/followers/the fedi at large,
Today seems to be the last big day of Pride Month and I thought I would use this opportunity to say some things.
I have been doing a lot of thinking, reading, and self reflection and made a discovery about myself, and it all started with a simple, what I can only assume was, off-handed remark about me (to someone else): "He sure as hell ain't straight, no matter what he says"
For the last 39 years I have identified as a cis-het man. I'm still a cis-man, but "het" is not accurate. Reflecting on my past experiences, I've clearly never been straight. But I denied it.
Even when, as a kid, I experimented with a neighborhood boy, I told myself "I'm still attracted to girls, so I'm clearly not gay."
And it was true. I was not gay. Or straight.
I am bi.
Up until recently, I thought being bisexual meant equal attraction to girls and boys. I was wrong. I read about the modern definition, people's experiences, and other things to realize it isn't as simple as that.
My mind opened.
Happy Pride to everyone!
