Today seems to be the last big day of Pride Month and I thought I would use this opportunity to say some things.
I have been doing a lot of thinking, reading, and self reflection and made a discovery about myself, and it all started with a simple, what I can only assume was, off-handed remark about me (to someone else): "He sure as hell ain't straight, no matter what he says"
For the last 39 years I have identified as a cis-het man. I'm still a cis-man, but "het" is not accurate. Reflecting on my past experiences, I've clearly never been straight. But I denied it.
Even when, as a kid, I experimented with a neighborhood boy, I told myself "I'm still attracted to girls, so I'm clearly not gay."
And it was true. I was not gay. Or straight.
I am bi.
Up until recently, I thought being bisexual meant equal attraction to girls and boys. I was wrong. I read about the modern definition, people's experiences, and other things to realize it isn't as simple as that.
My mind opened.

Today was some day, huh? It certainly had its ups and downs, but I must say, it was more ups than downs. That being said, here are #3GoodThings
1) it was very hot at work, but I was in a fairly pleasant mood all day
2) my other instance got shut down, but I found several new ones to join, and I think I know what I'll choose!
3) I thought my build in Minecraft was too big for me to handle, but I'm nearly finished!
You see? In spite of the downs, good things came from it anyways!

How do I cook frozen hot dogs?
All my life I've been told I'm "too sensitive." And to some extent, I agree. But there's a line between being "too sensitive" and them being insensitive. I don't take criticism well, I know this. And maybe that's something I should work on. I'm not going to, but I should.
I mean, I've let certain comments or criticisms ruin my day, and that's my problem. Without criticism, we wouldn't grow. But there is a way about delivering such information. But what can you do? I suppose if they have to deal with our sensitivity, we have to deal with their insensitivity.
I don't really have a point or reason for expressing this, it just happened to be on my mind.

1) played a little Minecraft with the one and only pockets, and got a couple creaking hearts too! (Or was that yesterday 🤔

2) got done the things that needed doing. Hurray responsibility!
