my hands hurt

i don't know if it's me clenching my fists in my sleep, arthritis finally catching up to me, or some unholy combination of both plus weather

but as someone who uses their hands for nearly all of my hobbies, this kinda sucks 😭😭

(no advice wanted, i just needed to whine/complain)

Bumblebee

This one was tricky, i ended up doing multiple proofs and fixes, and while it’s far from perfect, I’m really happy with how it turned out.

been thinking about linocuts a lot lately (obv)

& was reading about making multi color/layer prints, & then my mind wandered & noticed how some layers end up looking kinda like an empty coloring page, then thought about coloring in a print by hand instead for neat color variation/texture

I’ve kinda impressed myself.
There are a handful of things that I would fix now that I look at the picture, but overall I’m really happy with this one!

Disclaimer: I have no idea if any of these will be good for the typical use of coloring in detailed grayscale drawings, I mostly use them for backgrounds with other textures applied on top or for Mandalas.

five mandalas with white highlights in a square (four in the corners, one in the center) each is the same design but with a different gradient applied. (essentially I made a radial black and white gradient layer behind the drawing, poked it to fit and then applied the gradient map filters to it.) from top left to bottom right the gradients used are: Sunset Blues (dark blue, pink, peach, pale blue), Alien Sunset (emerald green, magenta, orange), Christmas Cabin (red, beige, green, cream, brown, pale blue), Retro Thanksgiving (mahogany, orange, sage green, beige, dusky blue, wine, cream, sea foam), and Orange Burn (yellow, orange, red, orange, yellow, black). an 12 x 10 grid of colorful squares, each a small sample of a gradient map.

all prices listed on the sheet are for commercial publications.
If you just want to use a cc:by map from my itch for your personal game, please go ahead, those will always be free. & I am more that willing to make custom maps for personal games at significantly reduced pricing.

a commissions price sheet, the top reads: Map Commissions Pricing Base Price: approximately 4¢ - 8¢ per square Prices are for commercial works and will vary depending on map shape, size, and the amount, & type of detail.
