FYI, if you are doing WebCal, CalDAV, and CardDAV sync on Android, the DAVx5 and ICSx5 apps are paid on the Android app store. But free with a donation link on F-Droid. I wish I had known this when I went down this rabbit hole a few weeks back.

Anything that gives Google less money and more to the developers of apps that don't suck is a win in my book.

It's #FreeCADFriday again! 🥳

I've continued my work on the DIY twitter box.

I tried to save some time by buying a 18650 battery holder. Unfortunately, it was nearly impossible to get the battery out again (it has a protection circuit).

That's why I've modeled my own and ordered suitable battery contacts which get inserted into the designated slots at the ends.

Please tell me it's okay to build my own battery holder ...

The #Fediverse can focus on praising what is good while also criticising what is bad. That's what makes us special, in my opinion. Other "social" networks use algorithms to hide the praise because only negativity brings traffic and ad click money. We are different. We can promote the good without risking being shadow-banned. Use that power. At least once a day. Deal? It takes some time to leave that pavlovian reflex of negativity behind. But at least try and you will enjoy the results :)
