It was a beautiful day for me. My brothers and I decided to put our money in a pot and use it to buy a lot of rice (the prices have gone down) and to feed hundreds of people. It was truly a magical moment of beauty to see so many bright smiles on so many faces.

The struggle for a free Palestine is the struggle for a free humanity. I want a more compassionate, kinder world. Maybe you’ve read the saying before, “none of us are free until Palestine is free.” This can be extended: Palestine can’t be free until everyone is free.
This includes everyone facing discrimination and massacre: Palestinians, the Masalit people in Sudan, the Uyghur people in China, women across the world, the LGBT community across the world, the Jews across the world who face antisemitism, the disabled, the poor, and so many more.
My perspective is, and I’m trying to make everyone realise, there aren’t Palestinians on one side and other people on the other side. The struggle of Palestinians is the struggle of humanity. Don’t donate to beggars: open your hand to a fellow human being, to a friend, to a sister or a brother.

Today was a little bit tiring for me. I’m a little bit tired. It’s been several days in a row when I wasn’t able to afford eating much, and I was very active with cleaning and maintaining the tents for my family and my relatives.
But when I'm tired I enjoy stopping and looking at the sky and thinking about other places and other people.
