A few months ago the Slither.io Twitter account awoke to go on a generational run against Snake.io, Netflix, Elon Musk and Google. It made only one tweet between 2017 and its July 2025 awakening.

A tweet from slither.io addressing misinformation from Google about its affiliation with Netflix. It features an illustration of a snake alongside multiple Google search results that incorrectly link slither.io to Netflix. The Netflix logo is censored. An image featuring a stylized logo that reads "SLITHER.IO" in bright red lettering against a black background, resembling a the stranger things logo. The image tags Netflix, asking them what they think about this “original” new logo Crash out against Twitter support because the Snake.io Twitter account was suspended and they were using it in a lawsuit.
