As I consider getting an EV I want to sanity check my idea for getting a level 2 charger where I want it.

Directly on the other side of my garage wall there is a seldom used electric range. My idea is to buy a smart splitter (like this https://getneocharge.com/products/nema-14-50?tw_source=google&tw_adid=&tw_campaign=22614651033&tw_kwdid=&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22620996644&gbraid=0AAAAACyDebOEjnrzo-ECF8xtOJVYKI7Ov&gclid=EAIaIQobChMItrTVz_aIjwMV0TIIBR0epQAHEAAYASAAEgIeHfD_BwE) punch a hole in the wall and run (through conduit) wire to where I want a charger to be.

It's a bit janky, but does not seem unsafe to me as long as I properly size the wire, but feel free to tear me a new one.

Took me a minute or two to get used to the tan top, but I like it. And since the car currently does not have AC it’s noticeably cooler in the sun than the black top.

I want to test drive electric cars that can be had lightly used for around $30k or less. So far I have driven a Honda Prologue and Polestar2. I drove a IONIQ5 before but that was maybe 2 years ago. I plan on driving a EV6 and ID.4 this week.

What else should I check out?
