I am wholly unqualified to be a psychologist, psychiatrist, therapist, counselor, or any other mental health professional.

Despite being medically treated for anxiety myself, my default reaction to someone else having a breakdown is to tell them to get their shit together and calm down … since that’s basically how I managed mine for the first 34 years.

Also it’s exhausting.
