One of the reasons I never got into star gazing and astronomy as a kid is that I always thought you had to be seriously high to see a crab in this.

We have a memorial every year for the victims of the Montreal massacre. Why are the victims of Lac Megantic not worthy of the same kind of national remembrance?

Why are we not honouring the victims of capitalism and fossil fuels? It's the same kind of evil that disregards lives.

I'm at the science centre in Taipei watching my kids have fun learning while playing and lamenting all the science centre time they have already missed out on in Toronto because we keep electing an openly corrupt drug dealer.

Not only should you never vote conservative, shame and ostracize everyone you know who did. They deserve it

We are at a hot spring hotel in Taiwan. The kind where you shower first and go in completely naked.

I learned so many different things from the women I talk to. You're in a confined space so it's great for conversation making. I got told where to find great food, what must see attractions are. They ask me about Canada now that the US is a cluster***. So many great conversations with interesting women.

I asked the man if he talked to anyone on the guy side. So besides the language barrier, turns out that men avoid talking to each other while naked.

Dudes, you are missing out. This insecure naked dude thing has cost you all lots of interesting conversations with people you totally missed out on.

My mom was listening to a political podcast in Cantonese and it's hilarious to me that they just refer to MAGA as 愚蠢人 (stupid people）as a matter of course. They don't beat around the bush... they just call it as it is.

My cousin seems to think my fears about Pierre Pollievre taking away women's rights and building concentration camps are overblown. I reminded her that Trump is literally sending US citizens to concentrations camps. No due process, nothing.

Her response?

"They can't just take people off the street. There must be a reason they are taking them."

And this my friends, is how Nazi Germany happened.
