Thank you for your recent follow, previously unknown USian.
I've perused your timeline and can see that 97% of what you post would be blocked by my 'USPol and shit' filter.
I have therefore declined to follow you back as you do not appear to be here for the fun of it like what I am.
Peace. 🙏
I just christened my special dog-walking-in-the-dark beeny hat that has a little USB rechargeable lamp on the front of it (or you could put it in the back or side I suppose, but that's no bloody good to anyone is it?) as 'the Dalek Hat'.
J asked me why I called it that, so I put it on, pressed the button to turn the light on, put on my best Dalek voice and said
"Ill-umin-ate, Ill-umin-ate"
Why yes, that is very childish, thank you.
Having a cup of tea and reading funny toots.
A brew-haha, if you will.
Is the second word 'off'?
Been out for our walk.
This is not a fancy bench, but wow, the view.

For an antidote to... well, everything, it's worth watching 'Japan's Master of Restoration' on BBC4 (iPlayer it now as the 3rd of the 3 programmes was on tonight).
Absolutely stunning work on restoring ceramics - proper 'move slowly and mend things' stuff.
Oh right... umm, left I mean, it's apparently international left handers day.
I'm a sort of weird hybrid left-hander. Writing was the main way you're labelled as sinister of course, but it's pretty much the only thing I feel I can only do left-handed.
Apart maybe from the pub sports like darts, pool, snooker, all left handed.
Cricket, golf, right handed. Tennis, badminton, squash, serve right-handed, play shots with either.
Give me a jar to open, twist the top off left-handed. Give me a hammer, left-handed, screw-driver, right -handed please. Knife and fork, normal right-handed way.
What that says about my brain's make-up I don't know, but it does mean I have no need for the special left-handed versions of scissors!
New blog post up: sticking with it, inspired by reading a post about something else.

Once again I have made the mistake of sitting down to have my lunch and a cup of tea after doing the dog walk and some garden work this morning.
Once again the tendrils of sleep are reaching around my head, stuffing up my brain, and pulling my eyelids closed.
Half a day's work at a time seems to be the law.
Just saved 5ml of water by deleting 20,000 emails which used 5ml of water.
