If you have a stock android phone, it's almost impossible to use it without a Google account. If your nation becomes what is essentially at war with the US, or is under sanction. Does the whole country get their Google accounts blocked, thus rendering their phone almost unusable (without rooting it or reflashing the os etc?).
QuixoticgeekLaptop has been getting waaay to hot recently. Just gone through and disabled all the AI shit in firefox. Hope that makes it possible to use the machine without burning my paws.

QuixoticgeekAs I procrastinate breaking camp. Time to talk about the item I'm really pleased I brought with me. My shade cloth.
I set it up over the side of my tent to provide shade during the hottest part of the day so that I can hide in my tent if I get overwhelmed by all the people.
Normally tents get way too hot during full sun. But this has worked brilliantly. It's sold as shade cloth for plants. The search term is "shade cloth 99%" as it comes with different levels of reflectivity.
