So I’m attending an event on positive action in Higher Education this morning then to a meeting with Research England who have funded some good work in this space. Contrary to popular opinion Universities aren’t yet equitable ‘woke’ organisations we are actually well off the pace and have a lot of ground to make up especially on race equity (but also gender, disability etc.). And before you right wingers come at me it is our legal duty to do this work under the Equality Act and Public Sector Equality Duty…
