The #fediverse isn’t here to feed #BigTech. My instance blocked #Meta for trashing privacy and Flipboard for farming posts. #FOSS stays alive by protecting people, not pumping clicks for brands. Open code is great, but we don’t owe abusers a welcome.

Tried to get fancy with #mastodon scaling and spent a whole day chasing ghosts.

Turns out my #Postgres replica was completely busted 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Wiped it, rebuilt, timelines back from the dead. Yep, all my fault.

At least it’s crazy fast now #homelab
