I visited @canodrom@social.barcelona this morning. I forgot to left some stickers… Yet another reason for me to come back to Barcelona as soon as possible. Lovely people, super interesting projects and approach, especially in the relationship with el barrio (neoghborhood).

It was super curious to learn that the whole Canodrom is manages by @colectic_coop@mastodon.social, a cooperative that won the 4-years grant by the municipality of Barcelona. The vast majority of the funding is both public and local!

【Winterrail 2025/26】


And so it starts! Since yesterday and until January 4th I will be travelling around Europe exclusively by train, carrying with me my lovely foldable bike.

Stops:
Paris (at @mario@eupolicy.social’s 💕💕), but also having lovely conversations with @giovannicerboni@pan.rent
Barcelona (for the yearly gathering of the youth movements in @bancaetica@mastodon.social Italy and Spain)
Marseille, because going straight back to Italy was a bit too much in one go, so I will just hand out and chill.
Sanremo, to spend Christmas with my family (even though on 21-22 December we will be doing a full-immersion planning with the staff of @scambi@pan.rent)

Last Wednesday, my fellow XPUB1 classmates and me wrapped up the trimester with a collective folding, binding, and paginating party to make A_Mazing Machine[s]: Wordscapes to Liberate Language, the printed publication of our Special Issue 28!

My first few months at @xpub@post.lurk.org have been incredible. I am so proud of my classmates, the work we did together, and what we learned. I am also very grateful to our tutors, who have been super kind and inspiring!

All information, plus a PDF of the printed version, made with WeasyPrint is available on this Eleventy website we created to share all the things that we explored. It mirrors our incredible, legendary wiki. It was very interesting and insightful, so I published my notes about Using MediaWiki as a CMS for Eleventy.
