I love how film vs digital is becoming more like oil vs acrylic. Whatever works. Acrylic has clear advantages over oil; oil is more for the hands-on artist. Hardcore painters even mix their own pigments, just like hand-coated tintype and glass plate photography is still a thing. Photography is maturing as an art!
It would make me very happy if, by the time I can return to the US, the Cybertruck is EXTINCT on the roads and the only ones left are static displays held by a few collectors, bricked and undrivable.
Let's see where things are in 5 years.
Productive day. Finished a roll of ProImage 100 I've been carrying for weeks in the Pentax and a roll of Lomochrome Purple I bought while I was still in Portland in the Graflex out at the Botanical Gardens in Cologne. Scans when available. I have to be kind of careful with my money at the lab.
USPol (Bush era), does anyone else remember this?
Does anyone else remember hearing during the Bush years about homeland security laws that were passed in a closed session of Congress and never made public? I believe I remember it happening several times.
Tell me I'm not the only one who remembers secret laws being passed!
My name is Rose LaCroix. I am a published author from the USA currently in Leverkusen Germany. If you have work for a native English speaker anywhere in the EU, I am available immediately.
I would be excellent as a proofreader for manuscripts, articles, or academic papers in English.
I could also proofread legal documents, assist English teachers, and much more.
I have a BA in social science from Portland State University and a German certificate of equivalency.

Finally finished "Chasing Ghosts," my free #photography book! Might still be some buggy links and I might go back and do some editing for style or tweaking the images some more. But I'm happy enough with what I've got apart from that.

This is a prefatory work to "The Stones We Throw" and a proof of concept.
I heard this phrase in a dream, and I can't get it out of my head.
"Fat cheese to them that likes fat cheese!"
In the dream it was a phrase you shouted before doing something awesome. A dashing rogue eloping with his lover might shout it as they ride off into the sunset. A duelist might shout it before throwing the first cut in a duel. A commander on a battlefield might shout it before leading a death-defying charge.
It means life's richness is yours if you want it, or something like that.
