Elfstedentocht soon?
I had an early appointment so you can enjoy Amsterdam's quiet dawn
When people ask "do you have physical media that you don't have a player for" my answer is "yes, but I'm working on it"
Thanks for the excellent nerd sniping @cibomahto@social.v.st

I wrote a quick guide to using my universal astrolabe to compute the bearing (and approximate height) of a celestial object give your latitude, the object's declination and the longitude angle between you. https://trmm.net/astrolabe/
Now that y'all know the basics of celestial navigation, how about trying my latest printable slide rule to calculate the Computed Height of a star given your latitude, the star's declination, and the hour angle between your positions? https://trmm.net/navwheel/
I typoed "slidewheel" and now think that is what circular slide rules should be called.
