I enjoy doing Detection Engineering and the Threat Research/Intel stuff I do. Haven’t found a good way to do write ups or presentations on it. Maybe somedayI can parlay it into a more lucrative situation.

Hate imposter syndrome. Hate feeling segmented out of talking about things out of fear, and that adds into all the stress.
Stress over it all is awful.

Since I never did one, an #introduction
I am known as Shecky, a father, husband and security engineer
I have been on infosec.exchange for year (since near the beginning of it I think).
Security wise I have no direct specialization as I have always been in a spot where I needed to touch multiple areas. My main interest areas though are research, threat hunting and detection engineering.
I help organize a security meetup group in the Chicago area.
Outside of security I am into trains, photography and a bunch of sports.
