Here are some ways to participate in a #strike you may not realize count/matter:

If you have to go to work:
- Slow down, produce less than usual
- Make mistakes

If you must go to school:
- Cry (yes, seriously)
- Ask questions that require long answers

If you have to shop:
- Go to a locally owned market, esp if that market is owned by marginalized people
- Buy directly from small/local vendors

Find other ways to throw sand in the gears of the economy, use your eyes and get creative

Disruption is the goal
Do your own risk assessment, you may not be able to do everything but you can do SOMETHING ✌️

Per quanto mi riguarda, pensando che parliamo di dati di minori, tali dati sono MOLTO importanti e potrebbero essere adottate soluzioni forse meno prestazionali, forse meno potenti, ma molto più rispettose. Alla fine, non abbiamo bisogno della Ferrari per andare a far la spesa: va bene anche una 500...

I don't recommend this unless you're truly interested in the mechanics of social media manipulation, but a fascinating view emerges if you create a small, "anon" account on one of the big platforms. No avi, no details, very basic "bio".
Post one single text/image yourself (the more innocuous the better), repost and follow very rarely, and be sparing in your likes.
But be there, looking at stuff, regularly.
Very quickly, you'll discover how much the platform already knows about you.
(This is aside from the obvious stuff like location and phone type.)

It’s easy to be the wealthiest company on earth when you squeeze every cent you can out of developers and creators, without providing any additional value other than keeping an app store running.

Also @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu is this even aligned with what we expected the rotten #Apple to do? I thought that they weren’t supposed to coerce again creators and app developers into using their own payment methods, nor to extract 30% commissions.

(To anyone out there who still uses Apple devices: please stop. Apple can get away with everything because people keep using their products. Ditching your iPhone is the best way to make your statement).
