Wahoo! Pino is going to have a new headsail made soon!
It is nice that there are still sailmakers out there that aren't mainly catering to moneyed people, and who's websites are likely the same as they were 10 years ago.

Apparently doing this can have effects on your emails, such as turning off labels/automatic email filtering" and lumping in your emails together in your main inbox(as opposed to being categorized, apparently this is also a "smart" feature, didnt know that). Also it'll affect Gmail events on your Google Calendar.
So maybe worth studying further before opting out, but honestly the AI features are so freakin' vile, they're a privacy nightmare. In all it ought to be a good kick in the butt to GTF off Gmail.
You can learn about what will be affected by opting out using the above settings in detail here:

Time to play AI feature whack-a-mole! If you have a Gmail account Google opts you into their AI features by default(what else is new?).
To turn off Gemini AI in Gmail:
เน Open Gmail in the browser.
เน Click on the Gear Settings Icon โ
๏ธ in the upper right corner of the page.
เน In the General Tab, scroll down to "Smart Features" and UNCHECK THE BOX(halfway down). Then, right below that is yet another monstrosity: "Google Workspace smart features". Click on the "Manage Workspace Smart Features" and make sure both accursed toggles are turned OFF.
