The lovely Brits of camp crumpet brought some proper tea (theft) with them. I've now drunk a litre of it and the caffeine is making me a little bit bouncy. Oops.

#WHY2025
Went to a really interesting talk on toxic work places at #WHY2025. One of the questions was how to find good work places, or at least, how to find the places do avoid. I talked to the question asker after that talk, and it's maybe worth relaying the same here: talk to women, find a women who code group who are ok with men attending some events and ask. You can guarantee they will know a full list of places to avoid.
A colleague mentioned that by far the most common flag at #WHY2025 is the pride flag.
"Which kind?" I ask "Or are you lumping them all together?"
"Uh"
So. A challenge for all you wonderful nerds. Share photos of all the different pride flags at #WHY2025 using the #PrideAtWhy2025 hashtag. Let's see how many different pride flags we have here.
After cycling round #why2025, sorting out my angel registration, signing up for shifts, being stopped multiple times by people I've not seen in too long, I eventually found my colleagues. I watched them out up their tent, and have now retreated to the quiet of my own tent to decompress a little before the next batch of folks arrive. Before I lay down tho I deployed the most critical part of my camp setup.
The blinken lights.

Another step in the degoogling process. Have installed proton authenticator. Will give it a go for a few weeks. Then remove the Google authenticator.
